Make
It Happen Inc.
has been helping to fight homelessness in the Maritimes
since 1999. This annual
campaign gives people from all walks of life the
opportunity to show their support for finding
solutions to homelessness by purchasing a Raising the
Roof signature toque and wearing it proudly!
The
tradition continues again this year, with enthusiastic Toque
Champions selling Toques around the Maritimes for
only $10.
And of course, the
highlight of the Toque Tuesday, and "capping"
off a day of Toque Sales is the hilarious Comedy
Night,
7pm on Toque Tuesday, at the Casino Nova
Scotia.
New
for 2005 ... is the Lunch
& Laugh Comedy event, Noon
on February 9th at Pogue Fado.

Toque
Tuesday was created by Raising the Roof,
Canada’s first and only national charitable
organization whose mandate is to raise funds for, and
partner with community-based groups
that provide
long-term solutions to homelessness or those at-risk of
becoming homeless. Other cities to host Toque
